Labor and Management Help the Needy in Colorado Springs

The Rocky Mountain Pipe Trades District Council 5, and the highly skilled tradesmen and women of United Association (UA) locals 58 and 208 in conjunction with The Mechanical Contractors Association of Colorado, and the Mechanical Service Contractors of America (MSCA), gave back to the community through the Convoy of Hope and the Colorado Springs Rescue Mission.

Based on the generous donations from the groups listed above a tractor trailer stocked full of over 36,000 pounds of needed supplies was delivered to the Springs Rescue Mission in Colorado Springs. Items included food, clothing, household goods, hygiene items, and baby care products which will be distributed to the homeless, working poor, families and individuals struggling to make ends meet in the midst of our very difficult economic times.

HABITAT FOR HUMANITY – A letter of thanks

The purpose of this letter is to thank you for your recent donation to Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver’s life changing ministry. Your gift will immediately be designated to The Carpenter’s Helper’s home sponsorship goal and will forever change the life a hardworking family in our community. Your generosity and willingness to put your faith into action is a vital link in a remarkable chain of events. It starts with the construction of a new home and will end with the ultimate elimination of poverty housing.

In Partnership,
